We are a local family and veteran owned business celebrating 21 years of service in Lynden, Washington and Stanwood, Washington. Our in-house design team, computerized embroidery, screen printing, and engraving enable us to maintain low prices and achieve outstanding results meeting customer timeframes and requirements.

FAQ

We use the highest quality materials in the industry. If the care instructions are followed, our printing is certified for up to 50 washes, which is the standard life of garments.

Care Instructions (for most items): Machine wash inside-out using mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry at a normal dryer setting on household machines. Do not dry clean. (Feel free contact us for instructions on your specific order)

How long does our printing last?


I have a logo I created. Can you embroider or screen print it?

Absolutely! We can add your logo to any item you’d like. There are multiple printing, embroidery and engraving techniques we utilize. We will review and recommend the best option for you based on art, items you need, quantity and your budget.

What is your minimum quantity?

For most orders, we have no minimums! We complete our work in house and can do as few as one piece or millions. Click here to send us your logo and what you’re looking for, and we’d be happy to provide a quote for you.


Do you have items I can buy from you? Can I bring in my own items?

We do all of our own in-house embroidery, screen printing and engraving so am able to personalize just about anything with your logo with no or low minimums and quick turnaround. You can purchase items from us or bring in your own. When bringing in your own personal items to be customized, please note that we make no guarantees / replacements / refunds on personal items. There is an $8 service fee per item brought in + cost of customization. If you’d like to purchase from us, we have a variety of items to view in person at our Stanwood / Lynden storefronts, as well as hard copy and digital catalogs. Let us know if you’d like us to mail you a catalog. You can also shop online at https://www.hatsofflynden.com/brands.

We have quantity price breaks starting at 12 pieces for most orders. You can do any combination of apparel styles / colors / sizes and if the design is the exact same on all (including design size and colors), you can combine these items to reach the higher quantity discount rate. There are no bulk quantity discounts available for personal items being customized.


What is your turnaround time on custom orders?

Proofs are typically ready within 1-2 business days. We complete our work in house with a standard turnaround time of 10 production days, or about two weeks, from proof approval and payment in full on most orders, depending on availability. Varsity jacket orders take approximately 6-10 weeks to complete. Production days are Monday through Friday, except for closed holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Because we do our production in house, we can usually complete orders quicker if needed at an additional charge.


You know it! Depending on the order, we can do a custom rush order as quickly as the same day. Call or text us now at 360.926.8036 and we’d be happy to let you know if your rush order is a possibility.

Can you do rush orders?


We can work with just about any format you have. Digital copy in any format, hard copy or even an old sample you want us to replicate. Email the file to sales@hatsofflynden.com or bring it in to our Stanwood / Lynden store locations.

If you have your design in a vectored .eps format (typically a CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator file), you can avoid setup charges. If not, that’s fine too! We can duplicate just about anything you’ve got, with a one-time nonrefundable setup charge of $50 for most designs. Not sure if you have vector artwork? How do I get you my logo?


It is illegal for us to reproduce a trademarked logo without written permission from the company. Most large nationwide companies such as Ford or UPS are trademarked logos. If you bring in written permission from the company for us to use their logo for your project, we would be happy to help you.

What if the design I want is trademarked?


Unfortunately at this time, we are not specially licensed to print or embroider any collegiate logos. We can however do any elementary, middle or high school design! We do have items in stock for Washington State University (WSU) and University of Washington (UW).

Can you put a collegiate logo on something for me?


Yes they do! Jensen Lee is proud to offer a 4 year manufacturer’s warranty against normal wear and tear on their canvas school duffel bags. The user is responsible for shipping the bag back to Jensen Lee, and they will ship it back to the user at no charge. Please expect 2 weeks before shipping for bag repairs. Do not put in the wash. Spot clean with cold water and hang to dry.

Do the school duffel bags have a warranty?


To keep your warranty, please follow Jensen Lee’s wash and care instructions: Do not put in the wash. Spot clean with cold water and hang to dry.

We know that sometimes the bags get a little too dirty to spot clean, and sometimes it’s worth voiding the warranty to just put it through the washing machine and get that stench / banana / milk / etc. out. Been there! We have personally tested many methods of washing these bags in the washing machine, and found one that keeps the dye migration to a minimum. Wash at your own risk! We do not make any guarantees and washing in the machine definitely voids the 4 year warranty from Jensen Lee.

Do you sew on leather?

No, we do not embroider personal leather, sew patches on personal leather or fix leather. The closest company we know of that does leather work is Quil Ceda Leather in Marysville, WA.


Absolutely! We would love to work with your group and we do our best to accommodate your specific ordering needs. Options for group orders include:

  • One Bulk Order: We are happy to help design an order form for you to hand out to your team or group to collect orders. We do this as a complimentary service. With this process, you can receive bulk quantity discount pricing based on the total number of orders you receive. The person ordering, referred to as the Order Champion, is in charge of all aspects of the order including: collecting all the order forms and money; placing the one bulk order with Hats Off; picking up the one bulk order from Hats Off; delivering individual orders to the team; and answering any questions or concerns with the group. Hats Off works only with the Order Champion on these types of orders.

  • Custom Website: Custom websites are perfect for groups to have a small variety of custom apparel and items featuring their logo(s) available to their group for purchase anytime. We set these sites up at no cost to you with vectored .eps artwork provided. Orders are accepted online by Hats Off 24/7 and processed individually as orders are received. Like with our standard website, your customers can choose to pay for shipping or pickup at either of our storefronts for free. This option is perfect for groups that want to have custom apparel available, but don’t have the time or manpower to get a group order together or want to store a bunch of extra pieces, trying to sell them. After your site is set up, Hats Off takes care of the rest! There is no time limit to how long we’ll keep your website active (unless you want there to be one).
